ARtist Statement

 I paint the people, places and cultures that have shaped my understanding of Texas. My art highlights the cultural traditions of my Mexican American heritage and the diverse people and landscapes of Texas. I want my paintings to feel joyful and inviting while encouraging curiosity and reflection.
